I finished Honey & Clover season 1! I want to watch season 2 so badly now, but I can't remember if I've borrowed it from anyone and I don't know anyone among my friends who has a copy of it. T^T

Somehow, I feel that I've picked the right time in my life to watch this series as I think I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it fully if I watched this two years ago. To me, sometimes waiting can make things a little more meaningful, as you may be able to relate to them more. Perhaps it's not so much of the fact that they're art students, maybe it's more on the uncertainties they face which I find beauty in how they deal with or overcome it.

Some thoughts on the characters.

The one I can relate to the most: Takemoto
For many, many reasons which are kind of embarrassing to state. In the later episodes when he was very lost in life... I can't help but sympathize and feel the same way with almost every single uncertainty he faced in the second half of the season. I think Takemoto wins hands-down for being my most favourite character in H&C m(_ _)m

The one I would want for a bf (lol): NOMIYA 8D
The man obviously didn't have enough screentime in the first season, but I was already taken in by him and I love it when he and Miwako and Yamazaki bully Mayama to no end. 8D I wonder if he and Yamada would get together... Yamada seriously doesn't deserve a guy like Mayama (yes, I don't really like Mayama) and she should stop angsting over him aughhh. Yamada's a nice girl, but I hate to see it when she breaks down like that just because of Mayama.

Morita on the other hand is just plain... lol. It'd be interesting to have a friend as psychotic as him around, but he's still so mysterious despite all that. JUST WHAT HE DOES FOR A JOB, I HAVE NO IDEA. Though I nearly died laughing when he won the award in America and he was giving a speech on how he was tortured by his director lololol 8DD

I have no comment on Hagu and Mayama because they are seriously my least favourite among the main cast. DX I even like the other sub characters more than them, like Rika and Hanamoto-sensei!
