It's also very natural-looking (it's mixed with some light/dark pink fibres), so it's suitable for characters like Nozomi (Harutoki), Arietta (Tales of the Abyss), Euphemia (Code Geass), Kagami Hiiragi (Lucky Star), etc. All those long pink-haired characters. :D

In this episode, it plainly shows that Erenfried is your typical jealous emo kid with a super inferiority complex. Someone, shut him up already. D8 In this episode, the Aube Hunters and Ange were supposed to go and oversee a ceremony that was being conducted by the Foundation. Naturally, J.D. has to hide himself as the Foundation's after his sorry ass.

I HAVE AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE P3 'ONE MORE' DOUJINSHI.

Due to a lot of circumstances to come and some personal reasons, I don't think I can manage this doujinshi for this year at all. I won't really be stating the reasons here, but if you really want to know, feel free to ask. :]

I really apologise to those who have already started on something, if there is any way I can make up for it, do tell. As for myself, I've only got what I wanted to do drafted out, so I'll probably just dump it on LJ for people to read since it'll be a waste to just trash it.

I'm terribly sorry about this... Perhaps next year when I've finally completed college and other obligations, I'll be able to focus on a general Megaten or P4 doujinshi. Who knows?

No rest for the body, mind and soul. Assignments have drained me of my energy, I can't even wake up before 10am to do work anymore without feeling this sharp pain in my head when I wake up. It's that sort of crappy feeling where you wake up, but feel that your soul isn't in your body so you just close your eyes again.

JUST THREE-FOUR MORE WEEKS TO GO. I will not surrender! Needless to say, Tatsun's talk today somewhat restored my spirit of doing work. :)

And after reading someone's rants about their hair (LOLOLL), I'm reminded of how much I want my hair to be like those ouji haircuts but erggh, it's at a length where I can't do anything to it yet. TAT I at least want it to be my last short hair cut before I grow out my hair.

It's a bloody funtastic manga that's currently running in Shonen JUMP about a boy who's growing up to be the next Demon Lord. 8D It saddens me that it's kind of underappreciated though! Much love to maxsterism for introducing me to this series, oh man you really know my weakness for anything to do with demons and onmyouji and stuff like that. ;A;

Harutoki4 start-o

I started on Harutoki4 and I'm enjoying it so far, even if I don't really understand 50% of what's going on even if my Japanese understanding has improved from the time I played Haruka3 (which reminds me, I still need to finish up Atsumori's story). I've played it until after you meet Ashvin in chapter 1 and here are some thoughts:

Story pacing: So far it's good, it doesn't feel as if there are any awkward pauses. Probably because of the whole RPG-like feel? At least I'm not falling asleep pressing the 'O' button thanks to the voiced parts... for now.

3D/Character sprites: It's a big jump from the 2D Harutoki3, and the detailing for everything is pretty good. And the backgrounds! I go all sparkly-eyed at them. There are some parts that annoy me though, like the character movement on the field which isn't all too fluid. I do however like the character sprites and their expressions at the sides (SO MADE OUT OF WIN) when they're having a conversation.

Battles: It's quite challenging this time, because you have absolutely NO control over your Hachiyou AND you can only attack one monster (the one that's in front of you). Which is why I'm quite glad that Chihiro can learn the ability to heal, or else you'd be a dead duck in the later chapters when monsters get stronger. Collecting the megumi this time round is really hard though, because from what I read in forums, you can only get certain types of megumi when you unlock certain characters' kokoro no tenbin. I just hope that the battles won't get too me too much, even if I am used to all that Megaten grinding (MOAR POWER ROCKS 8D).

Music: WAH. It's so different this time! It's gotta completely different feel and I'm not dissapointed in it at all.

Also this time you'll have to rely heavily on your memo (R1) to find out what to do for a character, and because my TV is dying and all the kanji hurts my eyes, I'm going to have one hell of a time playing this game. T^T

I'll resume playing after I've done some more assignments...

Today was a pretty good day! My idea for our final project got approved, and thus I will be illustrating a picture for HARUTOKI4. *PIKAS* 8DDDDDDD

So I will probably be drawing a Tooya/Chihiro picture BUT THE PROBLEM IS. I have no idea what Tooya's character personality is like because I have no time to play the game or rush it at the moment... So to those who have played, what's Tooya like? DDDD8

If not I'll probably just illustrate Hinoe/Nozomi or Benkei/Nozomi since my lecturer probably can't tell the difference between all these multi-colour haired people lol 8DDDD

I had a good time at Bon Odori last weekend, just that I didn't have the time to update right away because I spent the remaining hours slogging and rushing my assignment only to find out that we'll pass it up next week. OH WELL! At least I'm done, so I've got one less worry on my mind. For the short moment.

Bon Odori was good– good food and good company. Except for the dance part, which reminded me why I never participated in dancing last year because the crowd gets rowdier by the year. -_- People, don't be assholes have some respect for another person's culture okay?! Augh.

I spent my afternoon at axtar's place this afternoon and we both conclude that Cao Pi has one of the most awesome pick up lines on a battlefield. Like when he meets Zhen Ji, he says this after telling her that it is better to side with the Wei:

Progressed to Motochika's Stage 3! *fist pump*

This is all thanks to switching to easy mode and having my brother help me in Stage 2 (Conquest for Kyuushuu). Before he started, he was skimming through all the characters and was like "I want a female character with a nice big sword or spear!" and chose MORI RANMARU. Cue me going pffttt and telling him that Ranmaru is a BOY and thus he might be slow. He then chose Hattori Hanzo. LOL

We managed to clear the stage pretty quickly... mainly because we gangbang'ed all the bosses along with the other officers (HAHAHA FOUR AGAINST ONE) so ALL WAS WELL. \m/ Motochika's story is pretty damned emo and serious (character *bleep*! resistance against giving into grief and anger! angst on the battlefield!). Even his dialogues. Poor man! :\

Anyway before my brother joined me, I kind of died at the second stage so I was playing the Free Mode to tide me over and decided to use Mitsunari to see why both yuncyn and iyori like him so much. And in all honesty, he's pretty fun to use! A pretty fun jackass that is. 8D He ~~shits bombs~~ drops like an unlimited number of bombs for his musou attacks (he should be friends with Senzo from Nintama, they'd be BFFs) and his fan moves are kind of fun to use, although a bit short-ranged. I find that when he's mounted on a horse, his fan moves are a little bit more effective.

... I think I've come to like Mitsunari and his jackassed-ness. D; His fan moves are rather graceful too, even if my brother was like "who the hell fights with a giant fan in a battlefield DDDDD8". ORZ

Lastly, a last minute Ling Tong for axtar. 8DDD

I suck in musou games. I really do.

Played Samurai Warriors 2: Xtreme Legends for the first time ever just now and on Normal mode. I have no idea about the gameplay and stuff and just went straight into the game, and died at the same fucking stage for three times! I DON'T THINK IT'S NORMAL TO FAIL A STAGE THREE TIMES IN A ROW, ESPECIALLY HALFWAY THROUGH. OTL

I was deciding on who to pick, and went with Motochika Chousokabe. Who, at first glance, I thought would sound like those pretty boy types but NO, his voice is like super deep and sexy. *_* And he's so GARRRR too. Seriously, no one can look as cool as him, fighting on the battlefield with a SHAMISEN and creating sound waves and water attacks to blast your enemies. T^Tb *in love with said character*

This morning was really one in a million. A really interesting way to start the month too.

enigmatic_wind came over to do her airbrush work so I was up early, and shortly after she came, I heard meow-ing noises. Not from my neighbour's houses, but right in my porch. I was wondering WTFWTFWTF because if there was a kitten on the loose, it would be dead because of my dog. I was doubting my sanity and if I was hearing things but soon enough, my dog began sniffing around the front portion of my brother's car but we both couldn't see anything. (I wasn't the only one who heard its meows though, FI did too)

Later on when I woke my brother up to open up his car bonnet and check; the both of us and my mom went WTF immediately.

THERE REALLY WAS A KITTEN IN MY BROTHER'S CAR'S ENGINE. D8

It hissed at us like a gremlin. And it was so aggressive. I don't blame it because of the terror ride it went through AND it had to endure the threat of being eaten alive by a dog. :P

BUT IT HAS REALLY BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES. *A*

The reason why we were WTF-ing so hard was that because this kitten hitched a ride all the way from my brother's office in Salak Selatan, which is about 30 minutes away from my place. That, and we were wondering HOW it clung on for dear life because my brother drives pretty fast and there was a horrible storm last night which caused some problems for my bro's car. D: D: D: I mean, won't the kitten roast to death from the heat of the engine!? D: SUPER CAT DESU.

Anyways, my brother took it back to his office area and set it free. OTL

I went ahead and bought Samurai Warriors 2 Xtreme Legends, Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes and Warriors Orochi 2: Maou Sairin (goodbye money T_T). 8DDD YAY FOR MUSOU AND BEAT 'EM UP GAMES, BECAUSE I NEED THEM BADLY. But first I want to play DW5 Xtreme Legends (which I already have). It'll take me awhile to finish all of the above, even if I want to play all their prequel titles badly as well.

{EDIT} NOES apparently DW5: Xtreme Legends and SW2: Xtreme Legends requires you to have the original game or else you can't fully enjoy it (like in DW5XL, you cannot utilise the Musou or Free Mode unless you have the original save file). T_____T *claws at iyori for the games*

Observing the human relationships around me as of late made me think a lot and various thoughts won't stop nagging my brain. Ominous afternoon nap dreams do not help either. Communication breakdown happens when we hear but don't listen, we see but don't acknowledge and people will instinctively try to prove that they're right; because of one major factor: their ego.

Because we live in a world where no one likes to lose. In every aspect of their lives.

Words can really break a person, and I can vouch for that. It is only whether people would want to patch up and heal their wounds or continue living with scars and broken bones; never wanting to attempt at communicating with each other again.

If only people will shut out their own thoughts, their own feelings, their opinions just for that split second to listen to the other party, I'm sure that will definitely change something in their lives.

THERE IS A RUMOURED (BUT MOST POSSIBLY TRUE) PETROL STRIKE SOMETIME NEXT WEEK, SO PLEASE FILL UP YOUR CARS. or you might get screwed over.

Got the news from my dad who got it from his client who deals with petrol stations and such. I asked him again this morning, and he said it might happen on the 26th whereby they'll stop selling petrol for 8 hours. Please help to spread the word if you can; it doesn't hurt to be cautious.

When I was eating breakfast just now and glanced at what my dad was reading and there was an article stating that A4 papers will be 20 cents more costly now, and other paper prices will rise too. ~~as if the prices of our daily needs isn't high enough already~~

There is not a day that goes by without some form of good news. I really don't want to imagine how life will be like or what the world's condition will be like when I am 30.

Yesterday was an epic day. Let's break it down into various times of the day, shall we?

Morning:
- God is giving me a sign to wake up early at 7am by making sapphire_1010 crash at my house at 8:15am. I had a good time showing her Rose of Versailles and looping that stupid Tuxedo Kamen video I linked two days ago.
- Made it my day's goal to GET OUT OF THE SECOND HOME sob in SMTImagine with ultra_butterfly and sapphire_1010 sitting next to me. A busy server coupled with a SUCKY local connection equals a really SUCKY GAMING EXPERIENCE. Like getting disconnected just before you reach the next stage. And restarting over. AGAIN. For three times. Aughhhh! I now have to go and get myself a Pixie, OTL.
- I will have problems playing SMTImagine with the AMOUNT of stringed kanji in it. HALP ;A;

Afternoon/Evening:
- My worst fears had come true, I had to see a dermatologist because my mouth infection wouldn't get any better, after 1 1/2 months. Turns out that I've got contact dermatitis! Or eczema! sigh. What made matters worse was that I went to do groceries with my parents right after that and went off into a couple of shops by myself, and I had gotten funny looks from some of the store staff and customers. Well, that really busted my confidence and I can't look at anyone in the eye anymore (I DO look like The Joker from The Dark Knight right now, or Kusuriuri who applied the wrong brand of lipstick and got a mouth infection). I'm so embarrassed about my skin condition (both face AND mouth), I should cosplay as Faust from GGX permanently. Everyone should be spared from my hideous face. :||

Night:
- Met up with dearest carneaglariel after quite awhile, and had a good chat! AND I GOT THE BIGGEST SHOCK OF MY LIFE WHEN I SAW MY PRETTY PLAY-ASIA BOX SITTING IN HER HOUSE.

This would not have come true if not for all the commissions I got. You really don't know how happy I am right now. 8D

I have been waiting for this day ever since I saw the previews for this game. And I'm also shaking in excitement because this is the first time that I have EVER bought a game that includes other merchandise in a Nice Shiny & Pretty Box. ~~also I never expected to get it this quick~~

The contents of the box: The game itself, a postcard set of the character artworks and also a book containing Mizuno Tooko's pre-production for the character designs. I love stuff like this. Also, be very happy for how the characters look like now because some of their initial designs are quite laughable (like Oshihito's).

What the book looks like inside. Focusing on Chihiro, because I like her a lot and I think she is a very pretty character! So far she is very much like Nozomi; a strong-willed girl. I would love to keep my hair like hers and also cosplay her one day.

After ooh-ah-ing at the box and its contents, we tested the game out and I can say that I have very good first impressions of this game. My opinions may differ from the majority's because from what I have read from certain forums so far, some people aren't really liking it so far. I beg to differ.

If I am not mistaken, the game began its production right after Harutoki3 yes? If so, then two years is a VERY big step because Harutoki3 hardly had any form of 3D and while the animation may not be as fluid (like the character movements), I think it's pretty decent for an otome game. I think KOEI's spent some of their budget on levelling up the graphics of this game, that's for sure. I am highly impressed with the 3D backgrounds, and their light and mood and atmosphere has improved TREMENDOUSLY (you see, Harutoki3's backgrounds were paintings/matte paintings I think).

The camera view somehow reminds me greatly of P3, especially in the school. Also, while you get to see the character portraits change and talk at both sides of the screen, you also get to see their 3D sprites move and I like the effort that they have put into animating them; as you get to see a lot of body language. Nice! (YES, you can tell that I am sick of seeing artworks pan across the screen). As for the battle system, it reminds me a lot of RPG games like Suikoden. Also the camera changes its angles and you get to see the characters perform their attacks in various views, which is good. At least I won't fall asleep during battle now! 8D

Now, the characters. You get to actually *walk* around in map areas and talk with other NPCs! However, it is a bit of a drawback that some of the minor characters don't get voices, and you may miss certain bits of information especially if you're not a native Japanese speaker or someone who doesn't understand the language well. Maa, whatever.

They did say that this is a fully-voiced game, and I think that they meant it in a sense that the MAIN characters get all their parts fully voiced? I don't know, we played only 20 minutes into the game and so far all the main characters speak with their voices. Which is why I don't get why some people complain about the minor characters not getting voices, because hayyy you can't expect to have everything and IMHO, big companies like KOEI will probably allocate their budget to other projects OR they've probably already paid quite a bit to get all the main seiyuus to act out everything.

Anyway, character impressions!
Chihiro: I like her. A lot. I think her expressions are really cute and she seems very strong-willed, like Nozomi. I love strong-willed girls, and I wish I could be like them. 'A'

Nagi: LOLOLOL I WILL NOW THROW AWAY MY BIAS FOR CHARACTERS LIKE HIM AND BENKEI. On a whole, he seems like a character who gets fed up easily (or very 'faaaaaaannnnn' [cantonese slang]). I do however love his drawling voice. ♥

Kazahaya: I BLAME carneaglariel FOR CALLING HIM A PIMP BECAUSE OF HIS WHITE SHIRT AND GOLD TIE AND WHITE PIMP SHOES. I can never shake that impression away now OTLLLL. *coughs* He is a VERY awesome older brother figure, and that's all I can gather so far.

Hiiragi: ~~lol pirate~~ Oh wow, show up in your funky costume in the middle of a housing street and I'm sure the neighbours are going to see you and go "GTFO OFF MY LAWN YOU COSPLAYER/PIRATE WANNABE". 8D; Anyway, he confronts Chihiro and I swear, because of the way he speaks, he sounds as if he's seducing her 24/7. o_x And also because carneaglariel's understanding of Japanese is better than mine, apparently this man is very masochistic. Because all the answers you give that are SUPPOSED to make him angry just turn him on and the next minute, YOU GET HIM TO BLING 5 STARS. OTL

Tooya: I think I was spoilt, I knew it was him (whom Hiiragi summoned) because of that awesome Harutoki4 MAD 'Hungry Spider'. My first impression of his big scythe was that it was hideous. I hope this changes later when I get to see the weapon in a more upclose manner (in 3D) later on in the game lol.

OKAY THOSE ARE MY IMPRESSIONS SO FAR. My brain is shutting down on me because I am in dire need of sleep. Good sleep.
