I forgot what I wanted to rant about Honey and Clover Season 2. ORZ But anyway! I'm glad Hagu had more depth in the second season, I really admire her now. For someone so small in size but to have the willpower and inner strength of a giant... I wish I was like her. And Morita too. His past broke my heart ;_; My love for Mayama drops, while it soars for Yamada and Nomiya and I hope that Yamada will just pick Nomiya for good.

I LOVE NOMIYA T___________T Episodes 3 and 5 were my most favourite in this entire season. <3 I don't know how many times I've looped episode 3 today already. 8D;;

I finished Honey & Clover season 1! I want to watch season 2 so badly now, but I can't remember if I've borrowed it from anyone and I don't know anyone among my friends who has a copy of it. T^T

Somehow, I feel that I've picked the right time in my life to watch this series as I think I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it fully if I watched this two years ago. To me, sometimes waiting can make things a little more meaningful, as you may be able to relate to them more. Perhaps it's not so much of the fact that they're art students, maybe it's more on the uncertainties they face which I find beauty in how they deal with or overcome it.

Honey and Clover is a nice series to watch! :)
(YES, I *KNOW* at least ONE OF YOUUUUUUUU, YOU KNOW KNOW WHO YOU PROBABLY ARE, would want to strangle me the next moment you see me because you took two years to get me into this. But I'm sure everyone knows that I get into things at my own pace, hmm? ;D)

One part that cracked me up so far was the episode where Morita abused Hagu's paints and made a very 'artsy' Twister for Takemoto's birthday. It's kind of scary when you can recognise the colours immediately when the characters are screaming out colour names like "CARMINE RED! PALE VIOLET! PRUSSIAN BLUE! NO NO THAT'S PERMANENT GREEN, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO GO FOR MOSS GREEN!" 8DDDD;; lol art students So far I love the main cast, except for Hagu... still don't really like her orz.

Watching Honey and Clover makes me realise how much my life is akin to theirs in certain ways (minus the bit where I'm living on my own)— and when my third year in college starts, it's even more like theirs. Having friends who's graduated and ourselves who're going to be in our final year... I'm sure there will be some changes in the coming term, but now I really want to treasure my time in this place (despite moments where I just feel that college is a killer).

Looking back on my dinner with raincloud_sama, carneaglariel, axtar and yuncyn, I can't but agree when Takemoto said this line in episode 9:

"Like snapping the shutter of a camera, wishing to imprint this moment somewhere in my heart."

Someday, sooner or later, everyone of us will walk on seperate paths in our lives. But I hope that we'll have moments again like this, and I'm glad for all the moments of my life that I've been able to spend with everyone I know until now. XD I should probably go and watch episode 10 after this and turn in for the night; and do my best tomorrow and every day that comes after that!

I thought that I'd roll all over the floor laughing at Neo Angelique Abyss, but no. It's actually very serious, unlike Angelique Etoile and I'm enjoying it so far. Plus, Angelique in this series is very much more calm and collected as opposed to Ange from Etoile! I like her. :D



And she's so modest! I think Nyx was explaining something to her, and she didn't really understand and apologised for it.

Surprisingly, Neo Angelique Abyss has a lot of action in it and I like those shoujo animes with some form of action in it. :D Guess I'll be watching this anime to the very end! I hope the subs come out soon.

There were Akazukin Cha Cha cosplayers on the Cure main page just awhile ago, and I first thought to myself, "WHAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY COSPLAY IT?!?!!" and I thus went on a Youtube spree. T^T

The opening for season 3, and they took the SMAP version and fixed it to the OP sequence above (and also the 2nd season's OP), but unfortunately I cannot find that version. I prefer SMAP's version more though, as it's more catchy and zomg I love their version to bits ;A;



LOVE! COURAGE! AND HOPE! MAGICAL PRINCESS HOLY UP!!!
Yeah I loved it whenever the transformation scene came on. It was the first ever mahou shoujo series I watched, okay. 8D Yes, I never watched Sailormoon because it was dubbed in Mandarin and I couldn't understand it, and also I never really finished reading the manga.

Chacha (red riding hood lmao) was one of the least annoying heroines to me, because the other two supporting females, Yakko and Marin were BITCHES and I hated them lol

Gone are the days when I could freely watch cartoons on Cartoon Network all day long back in Standard 4. I watched the Phillipine English dub for Akazukin Cha Cha, and it still remains as the BEST English dub to date IMHO. It even beats the original Japanese dub, which I have in DVD and have yet to watch completely OTL (maybe I should watch it during the hols... but whoah, 72 episodes)

8DDDD The Suikoden book is REALLY thick, and it's almost as heavy as a regular textbook. It's packed with tons of information though, and I wish I could understand Japanese better so I can read everything in there (no furigana, I weep).

My hair is also now back to some darker shade (and it's red, but only visible under the sun so yeah! I'm happy as long as it's red) because my previous hair colour was washing out and evil roots were showing at the top of my head. :/

TOA also threw a big pile of shit up at the fan and it's all over the place now, so the next two weeks will be a gruelling hell to go through. -_- sethyhide, I WILL finish your commission by GACC, hopefully.

I always thought that the lyrics for 'Saikou no Kataomoi' was quite bittersweet, but when it played during the ending of Saiunkoku season 1, I CRIED. Especially when the chorus kicked in... the emotion in that song kills me, along with the scenes that played. It's such a bittersweet ending... I love and hate stories that twists your insides like a bread mixer but in the end, it leaves you with this super fuzzy warm feeling like eating char siew paus on a cold night. T_____T

Maybe I'll break my heart with season 2 a couple of days later... I know it's super angsty and full of drama. ;_;

Finally got back in the groove of watching Saiunkoku Monogatari, and I started with episode 21 this morning and now I'm just done with episode 26. I don't feel very coherent at the moment (Marketing class earlier destroyed my brain) so this will all be in point form!

- The Eigetsu/Kourin pairing is so sweet, your teeth ache just by watching the two.

- Shuurei and Seiran's relationship as master and dog a lady and her servant (sorta) was really touching at that point where they were resting at that border city. Seiran is such a loyal man who'd cast away all his own dreams for life, all for his lady. T^T

- The bounty posters of Ensei and Seiran WINS. Especially Ensei's once since they depicted him as a bearded monster lol 8DDD

- Ran Ryuuren... He is so awesome, the minute he plays his flute he kills the entire border guard squad because they can't stand his playing. Also his flute playing attracts ghosts wtf D8

- Why is it SO like Koyasu to voice characters like Jade? Ughhhh I swear, Sa Sakujun is just almost like him but spouts BAD POETRY. Throughout the times he was travelling with Shuurei to Kinka, I felt as if I was watching an Angelique character come to life whenever he's around. I just get CHILLS down my spine whenever he spouts shit like, "If it was the prison known as 'you', I'd be happy to be bound to it with chains." WAH SHIT SO CHEESY/FREAKY brrrrrrrrr D;

- I wish I was as smart and witty as Shuurei. ): And streetwise too.

- DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA TENSION DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA oh dear there will never be a happy moment in this arc.

- The Sa Family politics is... quite sad. Really. I feel for the poor members of the family who are all twisted by one psycho individual.

Now, onto episode 27~! XD'

I was quite thankful that CGPP ended earlier this morning, because with my current state of mind, I doubt that I'll be able to absorb anymore information regarding our assignment. I came home and watched a whole bunch of Nintama Rantarou episodes on Nicovideo while doing my Life Drawing homework, and uhm, I found another new love! 8D Watched the whole Carbine gun arc (season 13), in which these are the episodes in chronological order:

I never paid much attention to him before. But I think these few episodes magnified his coolness and Rikichi has a VERY NICE VOICE. 8DDD I WANT TO WATCH THE NINTAMA MOVIE. /weeps

Ahyukhyukhyukhyuk. Did my assignments while waiting for these Nintama episodes to load on Nicovideo... The connection is really slow today. I really REALLY love the two 4th graders, Taki Yashamaru and Tamura Mikiemon. They're so narcisstically (well, only Yashamaru) funnyyyyyyyyy 8D Most of these episodes contain a lot of Yashamaru and the occassional Senzou in it.

斉藤タカ丸の編入の段 - Saito Takamaru is being targeted!? Oh no! However, Taki Yashamaru makes sure that it's his duty as a fellow 4th grader to guard him, and the Gakuen-cho officiates the 'Save Takamaru!' mission. Everyone uses this chance to try and be a hero though...

さち子2世ごめんの段 - I can't believe Mikiemon names his cannons??? WTF. Didn't know that Torowaka uses guns as well AND EEWW, MUCUS-RIDDEN BLANKET! GAAAAAAAAAH

Dokutama Ladies - Uh what, there's a grandma in the Dokutama ninjitsu school?! This loaded halfway so I couldn't watch all of it. *stabs connection*

If only I could afford to buy original DVDs off the internet, I totally would do so for Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto. T^T I'm going to miss watching this series... it's one of the rare animes which I watch and will actually *watch* the episode after I've downloaded it. There's never been a time where I haven't been sitting at the edge of my seat, unsure of what's going to happen next. Each episode is packed with SO many WTF-inducing moments and a whole lot of historical information, which you itch to know more after you watch each episode (I surely know that this show educated me a lot on some parts of Japanese history lol). I seriously recommend this anime, because for one it's REALLY serious and so full of war drama that leaves you in suspense at the end of each episode.

Eh, the Nintama Rantarou that's showing on ASTRO Ceria is Season 2 or 3 now? I think? Because the ending song is now "Sekai ga Hitotsu ni Naru Made" by Ya-Ya-Yah and the title sequence is different (it's the same one as that whole Taki Yashamaru episode. OMG I HOPE THEY SHOW THIS EPISODE SOON. *_*

So I watched La Corda from episode 21 (where I left off) until the very end and... I AM A VERY HAPPY PERSON.

Although the ending is super ambiguous, I DO NOT CARE. KOEI, I DEMAND MY MULTIPLE ENDINGS, SOON. 8DDDD I think that the amount of sugar in the last few episodes is just good enough for me to counter all the salt and angst in the past few. *grins* Ah, and I think that the song that Ryotaro chose for the 3rd selection was really awesome... but I don't know the title of it or which composer composed it. ;_; BUT IT WAS SO FULL OF EMOTION.

Might I add:
- little!Len OWNS ALL YOUR BASES.
- 'Brand New Breeze' takes on a whole new meaning now.
- When everyone got together to play at the end... ;A; Made me tear a little.

What, the new Death Note opening is all about the screaming and METAL. I honestly prefer 'the World' SO much better, but I like the OP sequence for this. You get to see L doing some kung-fu and Raito's trademark ">8D" face all over. 8D

Bakumatsu episode 15: So full of not-quite-there Yojiro/Kakunojo moments! ♥ ♥ I like the little gestures that Yojiro does to show that he does somewhat care for Kakunojo, while she's all muddled over her feelings for him. Also, I think that travelling lady with the long hair is awesome. 8D Oh, and HIJIKATA APPEARS IN THE NEXT EPISODE!

Gintama episode 19: LOL dying Gin-chan. Didn't really amuse me that much, but the next episode is going to rock so hard because it's the one that has the Shinsengumi and apparently there's a haunting going on there and they call Gin-tachi to help. :p

Got around to watching Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto at last, and I have to say amidst all the confusing, LONG names (which will definitely take sometime to get used to), it looks quite promising. I've only watched the first episode, because I'm really tired and I need to rest. So here's to a short summary!

Eh, I definitely need to watch more to grasp what's going on but it's pretty interesting to me, mainly because I like watching historical shows added with some mythology or olden day Japanese supernatural stuff in it. I kinda regret not getting into this series when it came out even if I knew about it, but hey, better late than never no? ;D

So far, Yojiro, Shiranui and Yuuyama are on all levels of COOL.

I think I almost died when I heard Kyuuki speak in Shonen Onmyouji, episode 5.
My initial thoughts were: HOLY SHIT IT SOUNDS LIKE XEMNAS.

And then after watching the episode and checking ANN...
It IS Xemnas' seiyuu.
