Progressed to Motochika's Stage 3! *fist pump*

This is all thanks to switching to easy mode and having my brother help me in Stage 2 (Conquest for Kyuushuu). Before he started, he was skimming through all the characters and was like "I want a female character with a nice big sword or spear!" and chose MORI RANMARU. Cue me going pffttt and telling him that Ranmaru is a BOY and thus he might be slow. He then chose Hattori Hanzo. LOL

We managed to clear the stage pretty quickly... mainly because we gangbang'ed all the bosses along with the other officers (HAHAHA FOUR AGAINST ONE) so ALL WAS WELL. \m/ Motochika's story is pretty damned emo and serious (character *bleep*! resistance against giving into grief and anger! angst on the battlefield!). Even his dialogues. Poor man! :\

Anyway before my brother joined me, I kind of died at the second stage so I was playing the Free Mode to tide me over and decided to use Mitsunari to see why both yuncyn and iyori like him so much. And in all honesty, he's pretty fun to use! A pretty fun jackass that is. 8D He shits bombs drops like an unlimited number of bombs for his musou attacks (he should be friends with Senzo from Nintama, they'd be BFFs) and his fan moves are kind of fun to use, although a bit short-ranged. I find that when he's mounted on a horse, his fan moves are a little bit more effective.

... I think I've come to like Mitsunari and his jackassed-ness. D; His fan moves are rather graceful too, even if my brother was like "who the hell fights with a giant fan in a battlefield DDDDD8". ORZ

Observing the human relationships around me as of late made me think a lot and various thoughts won't stop nagging my brain. Ominous afternoon nap dreams do not help either. Communication breakdown happens when we hear but don't listen, we see but don't acknowledge and people will instinctively try to prove that they're right; because of one major factor: their ego.

Because we live in a world where no one likes to lose. In every aspect of their lives.

Words can really break a person, and I can vouch for that. It is only whether people would want to patch up and heal their wounds or continue living with scars and broken bones; never wanting to attempt at communicating with each other again.

If only people will shut out their own thoughts, their own feelings, their opinions just for that split second to listen to the other party, I'm sure that will definitely change something in their lives.

So this is what being a third year feels like huh. Having a mountain of workload that doesn't seem to clear, and then your free time is filled with thoughts of how to tackle the other unfinished assignments and whatever fragment after that is spent thinking about the future or trying to relax. I've just completed two of my assignments that are due today and thought that I'd throw it up on LJ.

Also for the past few nights during my free time (that is, before bed /sobbbb) I've been reading Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight", and it ain't bad. I'm not a very judgemental person when it comes to books and will read something if I'm interested in it. And it's got vampires. I can never resist vampire stories. 8DD; Whoever is going to be acting as Edward in the upcoming movie (which I know nothing of) has got a LOT of expectations to live up to, I feel. I mean, you've got to be ungodly beautiful, with intense eyes, sharp but delicate features, a low and quiet BUT musical voice... oh maannn, that's a really tall order there. :D;;;

And you KNOW that your English has deteriorated by the loads when you have to reach out for your dictionary whenever you come across an uncommonly used word. OTL I really need to get back into the groove of reading again.

So for this term, we're learning how to use that goliath of a program, Painter. A long, long time ago in a far, far away land when I used to have Painter 5 installed on my old Pentium II PC, I was DEATHLY AFRAID of this program because the interface was so complex. Unlike Photoshop. So after uninstalling it, I never touched it until last week. D;

Needless to say that I'm not so intimidated by this monstrous program anymore.

And the best way to feel somewhat better is to draw, even if I'm not all that great. I may not have an established style, I may not have the best ideas out there, I may not have great technical skills yet. But life goes on, and I guess you don't stop learning new things as long as you're alive, even if it may take a long time compared to a great number of artists out there.

In the end, drawing still remains as one of the things I can do best. So I might as well plug at it. :]

Decided that my creative juices have died for the night and so I settled down to play DSKR again. Ahh, Raidou, how much I've missed you! T^T ♥

I left off in the middle of Chapter 5, until the part where you're supposed to go rescue Tae and Sadakachi in Dark Kasumidai. I have to agree with Gotou, they make a huge ordeal out of every single menial task that they have to do (collecting the lost reports in this case). Poor Raidou OTL||| Anyway! The zombie officers at that part were kind of funny though... they talk all sorts of crap, like protecting the Capital with their zombie law WTFFFFF

I'm supposed to head off to the Cannon Battery #4 now, but I'll leave that for tomorrow because I was quite tired out by fighting and levelling my demons up. I went into the Kuzunoha training hall for the second time ever and picked a random floor to fight, without knowing the difficulty of each floor. I went to Floor 4, saw a pretty demon (Yoshitsune) and talked to him! AND LANDED MYSELF IN A FIGHT THAT WAS KINDA DIFFICULT, ORZZZZ. I'm only level 41 at the moment and my strongest demon is Okuninushi. I really need to fuse better and more powerful demons but I have no idea how. *sobs*

Playing any Megaten game gets me all hyped up, so here's a doodle before I sleep.

I'm so glad that classes are over... I feel really strained inside whenever I work on an assignment and I can't wait to just draw something else. Still having very mixed feelings about art (I just want to draw without thinking if it's going to be great or not), and a lot of things in general. My Chinese New Year is usually a very quiet affair where we'd all stay home and just relax. I spent my day playing P3 yesterday and I FINALLY HAVE MY MESSIAH AND LUCIFER AND THAT WONDERFUL ARMAGGEDON SKILL ♥♥♥ I'm just counting down the days to beat the final boss and get over this game.

Had yee sang with my grandparents and 4th aunt as usual, and we had those late night buffets at Hotel Equatorial really late into the night. Also, I love going to KL at night because of all the pretty lights and the fact that it really is quite empty during CNY.

A new shop opened in Pyramid 2 and they've got quite a nice selection of clothes and hats that aren't too expensive! I want a new hat, but unfortunately for me, my facial structure is retarded and not all hat styles suit my face. ): I would want to go back there and try on more stuff when I have the time though. And eventhough I don't do the traditional Chinese New Year shopping (because I shop quite often and not just once a year so I never really felt the need to buy new clothes just for this occassion), I feel like getting something for myself.
