No rest for the body, mind and soul. Assignments have drained me of my energy, I can't even wake up before 10am to do work anymore without feeling this sharp pain in my head when I wake up. It's that sort of crappy feeling where you wake up, but feel that your soul isn't in your body so you just close your eyes again.

JUST THREE-FOUR MORE WEEKS TO GO. I will not surrender! Needless to say, Tatsun's talk today somewhat restored my spirit of doing work. :)

And after reading someone's rants about their hair (LOLOLL), I'm reminded of how much I want my hair to be like those ouji haircuts but erggh, it's at a length where I can't do anything to it yet. TAT I at least want it to be my last short hair cut before I grow out my hair.

Oh yes, anyone else on my flist reads Nurarihyon no Mago? It's a bloody funtastic manga that's currently running in Shonen JUMP about a boy who's growing up to be the next Demon Lord. 8D It saddens me that it's kind of underappreciated though! Much love to maxsterism for introducing me to this series, oh man you really know my weakness for anything to do with demons and onmyouji and stuff like that. ;A;

My long and insane week has come to an end, and yesterday was a real contrast to the rest of the week which I'm very happy for. The Manga Suki exhibition and comic bazaar was great, and even better than what I expected it to be. Kudos to kitmun, Sio Yean and the people who were involved in it! I hope there'll be something like this in the near future too.

I thought it was going to be really quiet but I was dead wrong. ^^; Made a couple of sales, which was better than nothing and I had the opportunity to chat with so many people. I was also extremely thrilled to know that there is someone out there with the same tastes as the usual bunch I mix with, because there's this senior who played ALL the Suikoden games *and* SMT games and he bought my doujin! Apparently he's gearing up to fight Elizabeth now in P3, so good luck to him. XD

I also got my first (water)colour commission! And from my LECTURER no less (omg, the pressure!) D; Her friend wanted me to sketch three pictures at first but because the bazaar was going to end, I only could do one but still... It was a very different experience, but good! flowerchorus, I will try to finish your commission ASAP and return your sketch to you too (and can I still commission you?? ;A;).

ultra_butterfly and I managed to win stuff at the Manga Suki competition too, HAHAHA GO US! GO DEUX ♥♥♥♥ But what I REALLY did not expect at all was winning third place and getting THIS:

My last tablet was called Sengoku because it was orange lol The pen pressure feels so different, and IMHO it's much easier to control than drawing with an Intuous. We also watched Enchanted after the bazaar, and despite the million and one clichés in it, I had a good laugh. I think the actors did a GREAT job at acting like them fairytale princes and princesses.

I came home, played a bit of P3 and decided to level Aigis up. I think she's quite fun to use after all! Currently lv56, two days away from the October exams and my progress is really slow.

My TV screen is starting to flicker frequently and it is terribly annoying when you are playing P3 and running away from a Shadow. That, and screens that jump HURT MY EYES. D;

Tech-savvy people, what's that adapter that hooks up your TV/PS2 to your PC monitor? I know such a thing exists (or else how would people be able to screencap from the PS2 directly to the PC), but I don't know what it's called. And how much it costs, because in the event if my TV really dies I can't buy a new one just yet ORZ.

While next week spells DOOM and GLOOM for me (exams and assignments OH GOD), I signed up for a pumpkin carving competition in college with enigmatic_wind, raincloud_sama and carneaglariel. Wish us luck for next Monday!!!

I've completed my summer break, school is starting again and Junpei is hitting on Chidori. D: Also, Ken is only useful for his Hama skills at the moment. :/ So my party shall still rotate between Sanada and Mitsuru (permanent party members haha), and Junpei or Yukari or Koromaru. I don't really like using Aigis because she has only physical skills, and hardly any other form of magic skill.

I'm still not doing any better at acrylics (it's so hard to master!). I don't mind this super long, patience-testing technique but when you have a deadline, it's really annoying. :/ And now we're only given a week to complete one portrait, oh dear.

Yesterday was the Mid-Autumn Festival, and I had tons of fun (despite the insane workload that I have)! Got together with the usual bunch at my place, and even if everyone had to go back a bit early, we chatted a lot over dinner. Oh and yuncyn, thanks for bringing over the wine. :D I really liked it (so sweet lol)! After dinner we just walked around the block with our lanterns too.

As an addendum, I ask my flist to spare a bit of their time to read THIS. This girl needs help to raise money for her brain surgeries, but she doesn't have the medical help she needs due to not having an insurance (I don't know how the medical policy is like in the US). You can read more details over at her IJ. Basically all you need to do is to just download one tiny MegaUpload file (which has no virus; I checked) and it'll help her, so it seems. Yeah! I'm happy that BT is teaching us again, this time for Marker Visuals. We got back some of our works from the previous term, and I really really didn't expect a full mark for my Visual Fundamental test. :O

After class we went to KARAOKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! OYEAAAAAAAAA I haven't sang in ages, and it was a fun session with Theresa, Rain, FI, Kuzu and Saph. We sat there for hours and hours and aha, I don't think I can ever sing high-pitch songs like Olivia's 'Starless Night'. Total failure. :D;; But the next time I ever do go back there and sing, I must make sure I know some Slayers songs by heart and attempt at an Utada Hikaru song. T^T

So today was really busy: I went to collect my Prince's corset with raincloud_sama (thank you dear for all the help, for following me around and whatnot ILU ;A; ♥) right in the heart of KL and it's mad. I think we lost a couple of pounds running back and forth and also a few braincells because SUIKODEN COSTUMES ARE JUST INSANE. We were confused a bit at the end but it worked out thanks to the awesome tailors and Rain! ;A; I'm like, super happy with the corset. It looks neat, and perhaps I'll camwhore one day when I'm free.

My nunchucks are also 80% done, I just need to paint the designs on it and I'm all set to go. Unfortunately I didn't make it joinable like a stick, because it's just too much work and brainbreak to do especially when you don't have power tools. >_>; Sanding paper clay was rather fun, and seriously guys, if you use paper clay, PLEASE sand it. It makes your prop smoother, neater and easier to paint by a mile.

We also went to college to get our timetables in the morning and... IL065-1 PEOPLE, WE HAVE 5 DAY CLASSES NOW YAY YAY YAY NO MORE SATURDAYS WAKAKAKAKAKARRRRRR! 8D

I headed off to the print shop to check on our CGPP progress with Saph, Theresa, Jamie and Clarissa but they screwed us up... ): Apparently one of their staff printed the diecut on all our final artcard prints, so we told them to change it and we can only collect it tomorrow. *sigh* I hope we make it in time for the deadline on Wednesday! Anyway after checking our stuffles, we went off to yum cha at some coffee shop and then I had a round of Taiko with Saph and Jamie at Times Square before heading home.

KURAMA!!!!!! ♥ I don't know, I can't remember his facial expression after that episode where he kills *bleep* and becomes Yomi's right hand man. BUT HE LOOKED SO COOL. *_* sapphire_1010, I'm glad I watched YYH tonight and not Nintama. Now I feel like drawing more Kurama (and Koenma). :P

Egads, oh yeah. TOA students, you guys know that our August term break will be from 20th August - 9th September? Which means we go back on the 10/9. But I heard that our October exploration week is cancelled because of it? I didn't read the notice properly as I was in a rush with Saph to go to the print shop.

For the second time in a row, I had yet another Nintama-related dream this morning and it involved finding the 5th graders, Hachiya and Fuwa in Toys'R'Us and I vaguely remember myself kicking a gashapon machine out of frustration.

Anyway! Our Spongebob assignment has been handed up (THANK GOD THAT MONSTROSITY IS OVER), and I'm pretty excited about our final project. We have to make a game of Snakes and Ladders, and ultra_butterfly and I are making a Harry Potter themed one. :D I'll just have to dig through a good majority of HP fansites and my books to get reacquainted with the series again and think of certain things for some elements of the game.

Oh yeah, do tell me what's your favourite item or spell or whatever in the HP universe. 8D

I'm watching Transformers tonight with my parents and I can't wait, because I've been dying to watch it ever since it started screening. XD

Today, a miracle happened. In all four terms of studying at TOA and crossing over the road from our college to the housing area where we park, someone actually stopped at the zebra crossing to let us cross today. USUALLY THEY'D TRY TO RUN US DOWN! enigmatic_wind, ultra_butterfly and I were like crying tears of joy lulz. And the best part is? The person who slowed down for us ISN'T EVEN MALAYSIAN, HAHAHA. And because of his action, a Proton Saga that was speeding up actually slowed down for us too. 8D

I actually have the mood to do a lot of work now as I've finished the simplified product assignment and arranging my typography assignment for tomorrow. I should probably finish up a figure or CGPP tonight. 8DD But before that, I have to ( dooooooooooooooddddddleeeeee! )

I would like to cosplay as someone from Nintama one day in the future, but the things that are probably stopping me is the fact that people would throw brickbats at me or I'd just be mistaken as a random Naruto ninja. :\

I finally got around to watching the subbed version of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de ~Maihitoyo~ last night, and the first half (except the SueAka moments) kinda bore me still but I always feel a little sad (Suefumi!! ;A;) when I finish watching it. It also does NOT help that it will surely rain after I watch it (EVEN if I just watch it to screencap it and make icons)... like right now. The atmosphere totally feels like the one in Maihitoyo, especially when Akane and Suefumi meet on the bridge.

Ah yeah, today, there was also this weird quite elderly gaijin who has apparently never seen four college girls sit on the sidewalks waiting for their transport and he actually STOOD in front of us, muttered something that sounded like either "nice folders" or "nice poses" and walked off with his Chinese wife. :O eerrrrr. Lord knows what he was thinking about, as our college door shutters were closed and stuff so yeah, he could have thought about a lot of things. D8

The usual humdrum of college starts once again today, and acrylic is... an irritating yet interesting medium to use. I'm not liking the fact that I have to constantly use the hair dryer to dry in between the layers and laying out the base, but touching up later just gets better. Oh, and thankfully the fun part about drying it is by using the hair dryer to waterbend and airbend manipulate the water flow on the canvas so some interesting textures and gradients could be created. And after three terms, I still can never paint 'light' themed paintings... All the stuff I paint are so dark and gloomy and screams emo and angst. D: I'm sorry apples, I painted you in such a dark atmosphere (again).

Ah, and I'm really going to work hard for my cosplay this year. Wigs are usually the things that kill my pocket, so I guess I'm really going to do commissions so I can hopefully use the online money and buy them instead of coming up with physical cash all the time. *coughs blood*

Anyway, do you think that USD$10/RM10 is too expensive for a bust shot commission with my level of art, irregardless of CG/pencil/ink 'cause they're all gonna be a set price? ;_; From what I researched on DA, the average price is USD$30 above. I doubt people would pay that much for my stuff.
